Amy is so personable and relatable, understanding and empathetic. She’s been a huge part of my recovery and has made a huge impact on my life. She is so fun, passionate, and committed. This process has had a lot of awful parts, but Amy was one of the best parts. My life has become so much more beautiful with her help. ~JM

Amy rocks! I can’t begin to express my thankfulness for all her help and support. She has helped me immensely in my recovery, offering me a wise mind in the face of my eating disorder before I could find one myself. Her encouragement, cheerfulness, dedication, and humor made the rough patches easier. She has a special gift and I’m grateful for the chance to have worked with her and to have been her patient. ~KB

Amy is a talented and engaging professional that brings nutrition and diet effectually to a conscious but tolerable level for patients who struggle with the thought of this same information. She balances cheerleading with challenges well and does so with a humanness and sincerity of person that makes her exceedingly approachable and trustworthy.  ~Dr. B

Amy always makes me laugh and helps me see the light in every situation. She has been such an important part of my journey. Her kindness made me less apprehensive about starting treatment. The passion she has for her work is so inspirational. She doesn’t just work a 9 to 5. Her life’s work is to help people make peace with food and their bodies. Her manner of dealing with patients is so kind and genuine, and her presence has been a comfort to me. She really helped me change my life. ~AR

What an incredible difference Amy has made in my life. Through most all of my struggles she was there, determined to show me the importance of feeding my body especially then. Even though I still struggle with urges, Amy’s plan for me helped me realize for the first time in my life that I’d be ok, more than ok even, if I didn’t work out. She helped me see that I am a person, loving and deserving of food, before I am a runner. She taught me to accept that all food is good food and helped me free myself from my controlling, restrictive, not always enjoyable choices. Her support not only freed me to try new foods, but to branch out and try new things in life. ~LL

Amy has a gift of being able to empathize yet still push us past our struggles. She helped me see the danger in falling back into old ways, how easily it can happen, and how to stand up for what’s right in my recovery even when it seems the rest of society is doing something different. The compassion and support Amy has provided me, the reassurance and information, the understanding – I appreciate it so much. But most of all, she helped show me it’s really possible to love myself, right where I’m at. For all of those things I’m eternally grateful. ~SM

I would not have been able to recover if it weren’t for Amy. Because of Amy I am able to eat food comfortably and accept my body in ways I never have before. Amy will always be the little angel on my shoulder feeding me the positive knowledge I need to keep on the right track.  ~RB

Amy really helped me get through this. It’s been a struggle, but Amy always says what I need to hear. She is so interested and recalls what I said in past sessions. She makes me feel cared for and heard.  She is an amazing nutritionist.  ~GW
